First off, let me wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. We will be spending our Thanksgiving like most people, with family, so we’ll be hitting the road tomorrow. Though, before I go, I wanted to leave you all with this simple, yet festive cocktail recipe that you can drink at home while basting that turkey.
Honestly, I’ve been eyeballing this cranberry mule recipe for a few days. My husband and I like Moscow Mules and the addition of cranberry sounded simple, yet perfect for the holiday season, so I decided to share it with you all. This afternoon, I asked Bill if he could stop and pick up some cranberries as a garnish. Unfortunately he thought I said cherries and brought me back two bags of frozen black cherries (but of course, right?) Needless to say, I didn’t garnish my drinks with cranberries, but I really suggest you do. It makes it look so much prettier and I personally plan on serving it that way to the family on Thanksgiving day. Besides, presentation is everything, right?
Well I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with plenty of things to be thankful for. Enjoy spending time with close friends and family and let the holiday season begin.

It’s not a big change from the original drink, but it makes it a bit more festive and if you can float a few cranberries on top with that lime wedge, the presentation makes it that much prettier. 😊
